The band had several hits from 1973 to 1977, including "Abra-Ca-Dabra" and their biggest hit, "Heartbeat - It's a Lovebeat". Tony DeFranco or his whole family regularly appeared in teen magazines from this period, such as Tiger Beat and Flip. By the late 1970s, the group disappeared from pop music.
