Network 10 confirmed Sully, one of the most recognisable faces on Australian television, had undergone surgery after being injured the week prior.

“She is doing well and is now on the mend.”

Sully has been part of the Ten News team since 1990 and was the first Australian journalist to break the news of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the 22nd anniversary of which was observed today.
