Just yesterday, Demi Lovato dropped a huge surprise by announcing details about her sixth studio album. Tell Me You Love Me is due for release on September 29 and was made available to pre-order at midnight.

As part of her announcement, Demi shared a snippet of the album’s title track. From the few seconds we heard, we had a strong feeling we were going to love the song. Luckily for us, as soon as the album pre-order was live, ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ became instantly available.

Oozing with soul and a slick RnB groove, ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ is a mid-tempo ballad which showcases Demi’s flawless vocal. The track is rich with brass sounds throughout which we’re loving, and there is a hint of a gospel vibe during the hand-clapping chorus. Lyrically, the track is passionate and shows a different side to Demi in comparison to the sassy ‘Sorry Not Sorry’.

Oh, tell me you love me
I need someone on days like this, I do, on days like this
Oh, can you hear my heart say oohhhh, ooh
No, you ain’t nobody ’til you got somebody

Just one listen to ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ is enough to prove that Demi is bigger and better than ever. We’re loving the soulful vibe which truly allows the vocal powerhouse to shine. If ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ is anything to go by, then the album is going to be something special.

According to iTunes, the standard edition of Tell Me You Love Me will include 12 tracks, whilst the deluxe will include an additional three songs including her Jax Jones/Stefflon Don collaboration ‘Instruction’. The full tracklist has yet to be revealed, however, iTunes states that two tracks are called ‘Sexy Dirty Love’ and ‘You Don’t Do It For Me Anymore’.

Tell Me You Love Me is available to pre-order now.
